LiveWell at 6th International Forum on Food and Nutrition

November 25th 2014

Barilla_eventLiveWell is delighted to participate to the sixth edition of the International Forum on Food and Nutrition. This will take place 3-4 December in Milan, Italy.

This inspirational two-day event is organised by the Barilla Center for Food & Nutrition Foundation (BCFN Foundation) and will take place at one of Europe’s leading economics university: the Bocconi University.

The first day of the conference is dedicated to the presentations of the 10 BCFN YES! finalists’ ideas. This is a project aimed at young researchers interested in proposing sustainable solutions in the agrifood system.

On the following day, the conference programme will focus on the major global themes and challenges included in the Milan Protocol for a sustainable future for People and Planet – an international agreement which aims to address the challenge of sustainability in the food chain[1].

The main topics of discussion include:

  • Management of natural resources, particularly in relation to water;
  • Supply chain sustainability;
  • Food waste;
  • The value of food from a future perspective.

A varied range of authoritative experts will be part of the forum representing the United Nations, the European Union institutions and the business and academic worlds.

It is still possible to register to the second day of the forum. Click here to ensure your participation.
