When it comes to food everyone is a bit weary of being told what to do. It all sounds a bit complicated – cholesterol, saturated fat, organic, food miles, seasonal. The good news is it doesn’t have to be that complicated! LiveWell for LIFE’s research tells us that what’s healthy for people is – more or less – healthy for the planet too. And for some it might even be cheaper. It’s no radical proposal – it’s a diet that contains meat or fish every day including everything from chicken curry to macaroni cheese – if you so wish.

5) Buy food that meets a credible certified standard

6) Eat fewer foods high in fat, salt and sugar
Keep foods such as cakes, sweets and chocolate as well as cured meat, fries and crisps to an occasional treat.Choose water, avoid sugary drinks and remember that juices only count as one of your 5-a-day however much you drink.Our related posts
